Save a sho file in 3.15 no output!

Hi Nico

I save my sho file in Dlight 3.15 and open this file it in 3.14 there is no output from the recorded channels

that's something I didn't thought before but as i've changed for 3.0.15 the way that cue's file are recorded (inside the xml file I've changed universe word for ROOM), they cannot be open anymore in pre 3.0.15 release.
3.0.15 can read pre release and release files.
< 3.0.15 can only read < 3.0.15 files.

is it a problem for you?

Hi Nico,

It is not a big problem i was just wondering why, this explain the problem.

If i really want to play the sho for some reason in a pre release can i alter the word ROOM?

yes you can, but if you do it manually, it's a boring thing...
I guess a grep command can do that easily for u...

you have to use the .sho Manager to decompress from sho
once you got the whole show directory, in each cue file, you have to change ROOM for universe.

then you'll be able to compress to sho using the .sho manager and re-open your sho with a pre 3.0.15 release
