how do you change the levels in DL? with the mouse? with the wheel of the mouse? with the At_Level shortcut?Now tested the BCF2000 as well, and -as expected- it behaves the same. No big deal, it just means that, when using the BCF/BCR, I should not change the levels in DL directly.
does it behave the same with all of this options?
waouuuu, this is big isuues.... :huh:However, while playing around, I noticed that the GO, PAUSE and GOBACK , when send from midi, do not behave as expected :
- when I pause a transition, and then press GO again, the transfer starts again from the beginning.
- Mlink and TGroup don't work, when using the midi GO
is it on the mac Mini or with your other computer with 10.8?
does it behave the same on both computer/OS?
what is the issue with GoBack?- GoBack seems to have issues as well. Need to test more.
thanx,
++

I use a mouse, but I don't think it matters.sl1200mk2 wrote:

DL does send out the levels via midi, but if they are not in the active preset of the BCR/BCF, the BCR/BCF ignores them.

I don't have access to a Mac with 10.8, for the moment.

Will do more testing ASAP.

I managed to get -in midi- Go/Pause/GoBack working as expected.
In my original setup, GO was 'connected' to Sysex 'Play'.
Sometimes, GO would trigger twice, and skip a sequence.
After changing GO to "PC 0", it works fine.
Best regards,
Noël

here with 10.8 SysEx Go, Pause, GoBack are working as expected.
I'll be able to test on a 10.7.
we need to know if this error only rise with 10.6
(fucking backward compatibility....)

Maybe I made a mistake in the BCR2000 settings?
Also noticed that, when pausing a transition (even with a mouse click), the Mlink keeps going. TGroup pauses.
Best regards,

Had no problem to connect Go/Pause/GoBack to PC (Program Change) and (later) back to Sysex.

I've also noticed a mistake with new SysEx connection, it's fixed for the next beta.
@Noel,
This is the expected behavior.Also noticed that, when pausing a transition (even with a mouse click), the Mlink keeps going. TGroup pauses.
Mlinks are independent form the sequence.
@pancho,

Please excuse my ignorance, but why are they independent ?
Yes, the messages received (in the midi-window of DL) are correct.Ce qui reste à déterminer c'est pourquoi un Go en SysEx fonctionne ici sur un 10.8, chez françois sur un 10.6 mais pas chez Noel sur un 10.6.

I am now thinking that the problem could be with the (secondhand) BCR2000. It has done strange things before.
I will test again, with the other BCR2000 and/or the BCF2000.

Noël

It looks like 'somewhere', a false 'Go' is picked up...
But when I set GO as PC 0, it all works fine. Tried all kind of combinations of Go/Pause/GoBack, and it worked flawless.
Meanwhile, I'm making progress in setting up the BCR/BCF combination (BigDesk
Will post a movie clip, one of these days)

like that you can start something that is in a sub indepentelly of the sequence.Please excuse my ignorance, but why are they independent ?This is the expected behavior. Mlinks are independent form the sequence.
let's say for example that you can have light for cyclorama rising in 20 minutes while you continue the Go in the sequence.
that's strange because internally at some point (after switching between Midi command type) code is the same for both type (eg SysEx or Program change).It looks like 'somewhere', a false 'Go' is picked up...
But when I set GO as PC 0, it all works fine. Tried all kind of combinations of Go/Pause/GoBack, and it worked flawless.
I've made a little change for the b10, maybe it'll fit better...
please do so...Meanwhile, I'm making progress in setting up the BCR/BCF combination (BigDesk )

I've made change (for the b10) for resetting this expectation even if 0xf7 is not sent.
maybe that's the cause of the problem.
