we will do a bit of hacking (hope you're there...)
plug the ultraDMX Micro
please download code.google.com/p/picusb/downloads/detai...ingw32_17Feb2013.zip
unzip
open cmd.exe
in cmd, move to the bin folder of the libftdi1-1.0_devkit_mingw32_17Feb2013 previously unzipped
(here for example I had to type
run the find_all.exe to see if it finds the ultraDMX micro

Have now Par LEDs in U0, and moving head in U1, all in Room 1. Works like a charm
Also tested Midi control (BCR/BCF). All works great.
Best regards,
Noël

so after discussions on libusbx, I'll ask you more tests.
attached the libusb dll we will work with (it's the newest rc one)
you'll use the cmd.exe stuff and navigate to the libftdi devkit (as you did the other day).
you'll first set the libusb debug level. to do so, just type (and validate by Enter):
C:\users\...\bin>set LIBUSB_DEBUG=4
right after, launch the xusb executable:
C:\users\...\bin>xusb -i 0403:6001
can you please post the log.
basically, they said that it's a driver installation issue... but I agree with you, it's weird that the libusb that I distribute with pre b3 version works.

I just put the libusb-1.0.dll from the zip into the bin of the libftdi folder, re-ran the debug, and it still reports 'Using libusbx v1.0.14.10576'
Do you want the newer log anyway?

as they've just release their new version of libusbx, can you rerun the test with the libusb attached?
can you also copy it in the DL' bin folder and retry with you ultra DMX Micro
hope you're not tired with these tests...

Yes, done and I've attached the log - but -- still get 'Using libusbx v1.0.14.10576' - but see the screenshot
